Training Dollars Available for Nonprofits
Macon County Legacy members eligible to apply beginning Feb. 28
Starting Monday, Feb. 28, Macon County Legacy nonprofit members are eligible to apply for up to $2,000 in Microgrants per organization to help fund professional development programs. Deadline to apply is Thursday, March 31, and selected nonprofit organizations will receive their individual grant awards April 12.
The application, available at www.heartofillinois.org/microgrants, takes just a few minutes to complete. Microgrants may be used for these expenses:
- Conference registration and associated travel costs
- Course enrollment
- Board development
- Webinars
- Workbooks/books/toolkits
- Online resources
- Customized training
