At The Community Foundation of Macon County, a key priority in our current strategic plan is investing toward enhancing the strength and sustainability of our local nonprofits – an important step beyond our regular grantmaking. During the past few years, we’ve accomplished this by offering professional development opportunities, including partnering nonprofit leaders with fundraising coaches and hosting free workshops with guest speakers on a variety of topics. We've also seen great success with our Introduction to Board Governance course facilitated by Bruce Nims.
