Scholarship/Grant Received: Lois M. Chervinko Scholarship

Tiffany Wilson completed her bachelor's degree in communications (mass media) from Millikin University in 2018 with the help of the Lois M. Chervinko Scholarship held at The Community Foundation of Macon County. She attributes some of her current success to the generosity stemming from this scholarship. While at Millikin she also received Millikin Merit, Strive, Anna Lou Roth and Big Blue scholarships.

As director of parks and recreation for the Village of Mt. Zion (Ill.), Tiffany plans fun classes, camps, and innovative programs and local events for the community. She also feels fortunate to have a work position near her family and friends.

“I am so appreciative of this scholarship & the kindness of the donor. This assistance helped me succeed in attending an incredible university and opened doors for my future that I might not have otherwise had. I attribute my current success to some of the generosity that stemmed from this scholarship!”
