GaBrielle Brix

GaBrielle Brix, Argenta-Oreana High School Class of 2015 received the Macon County Soil and Water Conservation District Scholarship

Scholarship/Grant Received: Macon County Soil and Water Conservation District

GaBrielle started her first job as an account at Archer Daniels Midland one week after graduating Summa Cum Laude from Illinois State University with a B.S. in Accounting and B.S. in Agribusiness.

GaBrielle received the Macon County Soil and Water Conservation District Scholarship through The Community Foundation of Macon County, in addition to several other agriculture and accounting scholarships she received throughout her undergraduate career. She has found a career she loves and allows her to be around an agricultural environment. In her free time, she helps her parents around her family farm and helps them put up a Christmas Light Show during the Christmas season for the community to enjoy. Through the Brix Family Farm Christmas Light Show, the family has started a fundraiser for Easter Seals as they have had a huge impact on their family. She is also an active member of her church and holds a leadership position for their Vacation Bible School program to help encourage younger generations.

"Thank you for not only providing funds to pursue my career, but for also helping give me the motivation and determination to finish my degrees."
