Scholarship/Grant Received: Decatur Foundry Scholarship

Erica Besser graduated from Mt. Zion High School in 2017 and received the Decatur Foundry Scholarship available for immediate family members of current or retired employees of Decatur Foundry, Inc. and who have held positions of leadership and shown academic achievement throughout their high school career.

Erica is currently a full-time student at Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Therapy with goals of attending graduate school to obtain a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Her hope is to work with professional sports teams in her future as a physical therapist.

"I am still a full time student at Carroll University. I am currently a junior and will receive my bachelors degree in May of 2021 followed by my Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May of 2023. I am hoping to work with professional sports teams in my future as a physical therapist. Thanks to the generosity of donors I am able to work towards my dream of becoming a physical therapist."

Where Are They Now?

Currently pursuing a degree in Exercise Science with plans to pursue a doctorate in Physical Therapy at Carroll University
