Life-Changing Story
Elizabeth Birch

Elizabeth Birch, Eisenhower High School Class of 2016, received the Leading the Way Scholarship.

Scholarship/Grant Received: Leading the Way

Elizabeth graduated from Eisenhower High School in 2016 and received her Bachelor of Science in Commercial Aviation in Fall 2018 from University of North Dakota. After graduation she worked as a flight instructor, teaching others how to fly. She recently accepted a position as an airline pilot for Air Wisconsin (a regional airline that operates United flights) which allowed her to move from the cold of North Dakota to the coast of South Carolina with her dog, Piper.

"I will forever be grateful for the generosity of others that have helped get me to where I am today. Without their help and encouragement, I would not have chased my dream to become a pilot, I would not be able to share my love of aviation with others, and I would not have explored the world as I have so far. As I will always say, thank you again for your support. I will do my best and make everyone proud of who I am and who I will continue to become. Thank you."

Where Are They Now?
