Community collaboration takes a long time and is built on trust and creating mutually beneficial relationships. Letting the surrounding community know what you’re up to is just the beginning. The next step is then figuring out how to involve the community in what you are doing and creating things that people want, in a space where they feel comfortable – which may or may not be in our physical spaces. It’s all about building together with versus building alone.

Terrence "TAT" Taylor is a community leader. Motivating, teaching and giving back to others is what inspires TAT to be a part of such an amazingly engaged community. As a Decatur native, TAT's passion for our community runs deep. He has over 15 year experience with Neuhoff Media, where he is a radio personality on HOT 105.5 WCZQ-FM. In addition to his heart for the community, he brings a wealth of experience both as a community builder and an educator. He has trauma sensitive certification as a Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor and Parent Leadership Training Institute Facilitator. He is trained as an Essential Skills Instructor at Richland Community College's "EnRich" program. With TAT's many platforms and his active involvement in the community, he makes a concerted effort every day to lead by example to achieve representation, equality, diversity, and collective unity.
