YLIA to Offer $5,000 Service Grant to Fund Youth Mental Health Focused Project

Qualified applicants must be a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, church or school.

YLIA's Youth Impact grant opened Jan. 15 for nonprofit organizations, schools and churches aiming to impact youth in Macon County. With $5,000 in available funding, eligible projects must be targeted toward the goal of improving the mental health of youth in a school, church, or other community setting.

Qualified applicants must be a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, church or school. Youth-led groups are especially encouraged to apply.

All applications must include the following details:

  • Name and description of group or organization applying
  • Contact phone number, email and address
  • Demographic served by the organization
  • Project name
  • Requested amount of funding
  • Timeframe necessary to start and complete the project
  • Project description and purpose
  • Description and number of Macon County youth that will be impacted
  • Proof of 501(c)3 status

Applications must be submitted through email at tjoyner@maconcountygives.org in pdf format. Applications will be accepted up until midnight on February 28th.
