500 Families Received Necessary Food Products
Leveraging resources and leadership for the collective good is a wonderful responsibility and is at the very foundation of all we do. Our CFMC staff and participants in our Young Leaders in Action program spent their morning volunteering at the Community Food Box day on June 20.
The Community Foundation of Macon County was honored to be a presenting partner of our first Community Food Box day! 500 families received much needed food products during Saturday's event. United Way, Neuhoff Media, United Way of Decatur and Mid-Illinois, Crossing Healthcare, and Central Illinois Foodbank served as partners for this event.
