Over $75,000 in Scholarships Available

The Community Foundation of Macon County is pleased to announce the online scholarship application for the 2020-2021 academic year will open on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at www.heartofillinois.org.

Macon County High School seniors who have been accepted at an accredited college or university are encouraged to apply. Current college students may also apply for scholarships. Only completed electronic applications will be considered. The deadline for online applications is Sunday, March 1, 2020 by 11:59pm.

Generous donors who are committed to education have established several scholarship funds through The Community Foundation of Macon County. Each year these funds provide over $75,000 and benefit approximately 50 students in Macon County who seek higher education. Scholarship awards vary from $250 to $6,000.

Students may complete and submit an online application at www.heartofillinois.org.
