Impact100 Grant Program Accepting Applications

$100,000 community grant program supporting social justice and inclusion.

Macon County – The Community Foundation of Macon County is devoted to enhancing the quality of life in Macon County and enriching our community now and in the future. We work with our generous donors to help meet the pressing needs in our society and build upon great ideas for our future. The Community Foundation provides leadership and resources to help achieve positive change, representing the work of many hearts and hands spanning years of dedication to Macon County.

In 2020, The Community Foundation of Macon County Impact100 grants will award $100,000 in grant funding with a focus on social justice and inclusion. There is one grant cycle in 2020 with an open application period that closes at 5:00 p.m. August 20. Grants will be awarded to not-for-profit organizations and other eligible agencies serving Macon County communities. Minimum grants per organization are $2,500 and maximum grants are $20,000.

For the 2020 competitive Impact100 grants process, The Community Foundation of Macon County will give funding preference to grant applications focusing on the following criteria:

  • Organizations/program that demonstrate a commitment to racial and economic equity.
  • Organizations/programs that engage, mobilize, and serve people of color and low-income individuals.
  • Organizations/programs that assist people of color, people who have been incarcerated, immigrants, vulnerable and marginalized populations, and families with low incomes.

The recipients of the 2020 Impact100 grants will be notified of their award by September 11.
