Capacity-Building Microgrant Application Opens

Individual grants (up to $1,500) are available for Macon County nonprofit staff through a competitive application process.

Our capacity-building microgrant application is now open. Jointly funded by the Community Foundation of Macon County and the Lumpkin Family Foundation, these grants provide a maximum $1,500 for training and professional development programs for nonprofit staff and board members. $15,000 will be awarded this year.

Appropriate use of microgrant funds include, but are not limited to:

  • Conference registration
  • Course enrollment
  • Board development
  • Webinars
  • Workbooks/books/toolkits
  • Online resources
  • Customized training
