Macon County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)

The Mission Statement of Macon County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is to provide court appointed volunteers to advocate for the abused, neglected and/or dependent children who are involved in the Macon County juvenile court system. It shall further be the purpose of this corporation to educate the community regarding its responsibility for children who have been abused or neglected and found to be dependent.

Many CASA staff do work after "office" hours at home due to the nature of our assigned CASA cases. These laptops would allow CASA employees to work to work on these sensitive cases with confidential information on work-issued laptops at home, including sending emails, checking files, etc.

Heavy Duty Office Paper Shredder
Current shredder is smaller and cannot keep up with the capacity of shredding the CASA office must do per day. We must shred all case and court documents. All materials in the office are considered confidential.

Printer Paper
CASA prints and files all court reports for every hearing for each foster child for whom we advocate. We are needing 24 boxes of paper to cover a year's supply.
