Helping income-qualified families keep the lights on at home. Through Warm Neighbors Cool Friends, the Foundation provides year-round bill payment assistance and energy efficiency solutions for moderate-income individuals and families throughout Illinois.

| Weatherization & Energy Efficiency Moderate-income individuals and families may receive up to $2,500 per household to install energy efficiency furnaces, hot water heaters and implement other energy efficient measures in their home. The Energy Assistance Foundation works directly with Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program to identify qualified households. |

| WNCF Crisis Needs Emergency energy assistance available for low to moderate income individuals and families who have been disconnected, have substantial past due amounts or require emergency repairs/replacement of furnaces or hot water heaters. The Energy Assistance Foundation collaborates with partner agencies to collectively pay past due Ameren Illinois bills and/or provide wrap-around services for rent or other utility assistance. |
