The Community Foundation of Macon County helps nonprofits carry out their important work by awarding grants, forging community partnerships and educating community philanthropists and partners about the organizations that are most aligned with their charitable interests.
Impact100 Grant Program
Annually, the Impact100 Grant Program contributes $100,000 in community grants to not-for-profit organizations in Macon County.
CommunityWorks Endowment Fund
Annually, the Communityworks Endowment Fund awards over $150,000 in community grants to not-for-profit organizations in Macon County. This program funds three priority areas: workforce development, education, and environmental sustainability.
Grants from Donor Advised Funds
Donor Advised Funds are personalized philanthropic vehicles to which you make a charitable contribution, receive immediate tax benefit, and recommend grants to non-profit organizations from the fund over time.
Scholarships
The Community Foundation is proud to support local students by offering financial educational support through the gifts of our donors.
Microgrants
Microgrants are strategic investments in people and organizations to be used to defray the cost of attending programs targeted at improving the management, governance and leadership of the applicant organization.
