Anne-Marie Berk, Director of Grants at Millikin University

We're please to offer this course for nonprofit staff and board members: Granted! Pursuing Success in Grants for Your Organization.

Grants are competitive funding opportunities available through foundations, state and federal agencies, corporations, and organizations. While grant opportunities seemingly abound for our organizations, it's not always clear which grants to pursue, how to write them, and what it takes to position your organization to win. Also, when you do win, then what happens? Join Anne-Marie Berk, Millikin University's Director of Grants, as she shares wisdom, techniques and strategies gained through 30+ years of grant work. This workshop will help you to achieve a better understanding of the grant process. Even more importantly, we'll discuss how to consider and clarify the role grants can play in your funding strategy.

This course is offered as part of the Nonprofit Network, a Community Foundation of Macon County initiative created to support the capacity building of our area nonprofits. The Nonprofit Network represents the collective voice of the Macon County nonprofit sector and brings best practices, resources and support to the nonprofit community.
