The Heart of Illinois Community Foundation is a resource to donors and their professional advisors in the community. We act as a flexible vehicle for philanthropy, working with a variety of gifts (including cash, securities, real estate and others), and offering the maximum tax advantages for those gifts.
The Heart of Illinois Community Foundation is committed to partnering with donors to improve lives through strategic philanthropy. Honoring our donor's intent and the assets they have entrusted to us is a responsibility we take very seriously. In 2023, the Foundation granted nearly $6 million in scholarships, discretionary grants, endowments and donor advised giving. Championing a changing community, we celebrate the past year of giving.
