2020 Program Details

In 2020, The Community Foundation of Macon County awarded eight grants to Macon County Nonprofit Organizations through our Impact100 Grant Program. The funding priority for the 2020 grant cycle was social justice and inclusion. CFMC Board Trustee Judge Lisa Holder White chaired the funding committee. Preference in funding was given to programs that assist and impact the following:

  • People of color
  • Youth and young adults of color ages 11-24 years old
  • People who have been incarcerated
  • Immigrants
  • Vulnerable and marginalized populations
  • Families with low incomes and very low incomes

Organizations were also asked to demonstrate a commitment to racial equity and have executive leadership, board and staff that are representative of the communities served.
